Fall of Giants

Fall of Giants - Ken Follett I received this book as a giveaway from Goodreads. Thanks, goodreads! The book is an epic telling of the period during World War I through characters from different families from different countries. the characters are intertwined incredibly well. Their lives are affected by each other and the war. I enjoyed this book immensely and look forward to reading the next one.

A Cat Was Involved: A Chet and Bernie Mystery eShort Story

A Cat Was Involved: A Chet and Bernie Mystery eShort Story - Spencer Quinn This short e-book tells the story of how Chet and Bernie first met. Loved it!

Death of a Kitchen Diva

Death of a Kitchen Diva - Lee Hollis Cute. Funny. Loved the Brazilian Police Chief. Just what a cozy mystery should be.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

Devil's Food Cake Murder - Joanne Fluke Whoa! Surprise ending.

The Red Badge of Courage

The Red Badge of Courage - Stephen Crane Beautifully written, although quite gruesome at times.

An East End Murder

An East End Murder - Charles Finch Not the Lenox mystery I'm used to.

Your Heart Belongs to Me

Your Heart Belongs to Me - Dean Koontz Not Mr. Koontz's best.

The Red Pyramid

The Passage

The Passage - Justin Cronin Awesome book! Can't wait to read the second one.

The Leftovers

The Leftovers - Tom Perrotta Started off interesting, but then just dragged on going nowhere fast. I was disappointed.

Breathless: A Novel

Breathless: A Novel - Dean Koontz Loved Puzzle and Riddle.

Untitled Thriller

Gray Mountain: A Novel - John Grisham The only other John Grisham book I've read is Calico Joe (which I loved). I really enjoyed this book. New York City lawyer is sent to intern in a Legal Aid office in Coal Miner country. Her eyes are opened to people who need lawyers who are suffering because of big coal companies. Mr. Grisham includes ALOT of background info on coal mining, which I appreciate. The story was good, the characters were good, the plot was good. Overall, a good book.

The House of Hades

The House of Hades - Rick Riordan This one was just okay.

Relentless

Relentless - Dean Koontz Oh my gosh. That book was so stressful to read! I think I would rate this book 4.5 instead of just 4. The ending was a bit abrupt but it was a very good ending.
